30 Weeks

I'm 30 weeks! Can't believe we only have 10 weeks until baby girl's due date! And if she's anything like her sisters, she'll make her appearance a little early! I had a check up on Wednesday and everything looks/sounds good. I passed my glucose test which I had taken the week before. He said my levels looked really good! I'm measuring 1 week behind, but at this point it's normal. Now we're just counting down and trying to get last minute things done b/c I know the next 2 months are going to fly by!

This pregnancy I haven't craved much, but a few random things. Like...salad! And cucumbers with Olive Garden dressing. Yum!

And a few weeks ago it was Coke with crushed ice. Had to have it ;)

After we found out it was a girl, we went shopping for some new clothes & things since the stuff we have is kind of opposite seasons. But I've been disappointed in the selection of girl things now! Maybe I'm going crazy, but after 2 girls I think the boy clothes are so cute! Everything for baby girls is pink! Girls look cute in other colors too! Anyways...we did find this adorable outfit though. Makes me excited for Christmas this year :)

10 more weeks! :)

Bird Feeders & Binoculars

This week we learned about birds! So we decided to make bird feeders & binoculars!

I found this recipe to make bird feeders on pinterest. It's very easy!

All you need is gelatin, water, bird seed, string, and cookie cutters!

Mix 1 packet of gelatin with 1/4 cup of water until simmering.
Then stir in 3/4 cup of bird seed and mix together.

Fill half the cookie cutter with the bird seed mixture.
Tie a knot in your string and put it on top of the bird seed.

Then add more bird seed on top until your cookie cutter is filled.
Let it dry overnight and you're done!

The next day we made the classic toilet paper roll binoculars so we could look for birds. Brynlee thought these were really cool :)

It's a GIRL!

I know we said we weren't going to find out the gender, but we got curious and gave in! So I decided to surprise Stuart with a 3D ultrasound on Saturday. He had no clue, but he had been wanting to know so I figured it would be a nice surprise :) We've never had a 3D ultrasound, so it's fun that we've done something different for each baby!

It's a...GIRL!

We've thought it was a girl since the beginning. When I told Stuart that I was pregnant, he immediately said "It's a girl." Hah!

She's already head down which is good! And she even has hair :)
We think she looks like Scarlett!

All in all, I'm glad we decided to find out. Even though we only have 10-12 weeks left, I've heard too many tragic stories recently and I feel like we get to bond with our baby a little bit more now. We can talk to her and pray for her by name. Brynlee is excited to have another sister!

P.S. Her name is still a secret! You'll find out when she's born :)

Goodbye stomach bug!

Last week we were hit with the stomach bug! Ughh...no fun! It all started when Scarlett threw up all over herself in the car on Wednesday and it proceeded to take it's course through the whole family the rest of the week/weekend. We've been lucky that Brynlee has never gotten sick like that before, but it was so sad to watch poor little Scarlett go through it. It's never fun when your kids are sick. She pretty much just slept it off for a few days.

Thank goodness we're all starting to feel better now!

Labor Day at the stables

Yesterday our local children's museum was putting on an event called "Sandbox at the Stables" for Labor Day. So we decided to get out of the house and take the kids and have some fun!

They got to go inside a fire truck.

When I told Bryn where we were going for the day, I told her they had ponies and she was so excited! She talked about it the whole way there and kept asking if they had blue ones, green ones, purple ones? She thought she was going to see a real life "my little pony" haha.

So loved her 1st pony ride :)

Then we went to see the horses.

And play games...

Brynlee got her arm painted and made a horse craft.

The girls had a lot of fun! :)

We hope you all had a great labor day too!
