Last week I decided to let little miss feed herself...

I would have to say that she thoroughly enjoyed her 1st taste of independence :) 

Christmas 2011

This Christmas was Scarlett's 1st! So thankful my husband had the holidays off to spend it with us :) 


When Brynlee woke up she didn't even have a clue that it was Christmas day. She's still at the age where she doesn't really "understand" so we had to tell her to go look under the tree. I'm not really complaining, makes it easier on Mommy & Daddy ;) But I'm sure next year will be much different! 

She played with a few toys from Santa while we waited for Scarlett to wake up.

And I think she had more fun with Scarlett's toy than her own! Go figure.

Scarlett woke up and darted for her new kitchen :)

Brynlee's favorite thing of the day was her new camera! But.....after about an hour of playing with it, it just stopped working! Bummer :(

He loves me :)

Or at least he has to pretend like he does.

We made a birthday cake for Jesus! 

I think it's important for us to teach our kids the real meaning of Christmas at a young age. Brynlee knows that Jesus' birthday is on Christmas and she was so excited to celebrate his birth :) 

 

The girls were so funny. Bryn loved the baby toys & Scarlett loved the big girl toys hah. 

I think she enjoyed her 1st Christmas :)
