4 Months

Dear Ellie, you are 4 months already! 4 months doesn't seem like a long time, but it feels like you've always been here. I know how it goes though....4 months will soon be 6 months....9 months...12 months...it flies by :(

*You are sleeping all night. There are a few random nights that you wake up in the middle of the night for a feeding, but most nights I put you to bed around 9 and you sleep until 8ish. Usually even later than your big sisters!

*You have found your fingers and can't keep them out of your mouth! You're becoming quite a drooly baby lately.

*You giggle and it's precious. Brynlee likes to try and make you laugh.

*You're finally tolerating car rides! The first 2-3 months were torture taking you anywhere in the car, you screamed the entire time even if I fed you right before we left. Thank you for calming down and making car rides a little more peaceful.

*You're grabbing at your toys and things now. Last night you got so excited taking a bath and you tried grabbing the water as I poured it out. This probably isn't a big deal to most people, but as your mommy these are the little moments that make me smile. I love watching you learn & grow.

*You've almost outgrown all of your 3 month clothes :(

*You had your first PT apt this week and you loved it, you did great!

*You've upgraded to a size 3 diaper! Mainly b/c I ran out of size 2's and only had a package of 3's. But they fit, so what's the point of going back now?

*You weighed exactly 15lbs at your checkup today.

*You're losing your hair. It's pretty much a mohawk with a wicked bald spot in the back.

You are a joy to have around. I'm trying hard to soak up all these baby days because they're flying by!

Ellie Picture Catch-Up

Poor 3rd baby has most of her pictures on my phone :( Some of them are my favorites, but I'm trying to make a better effort to get out my real camera to capture this little girl (all the girls for that matter). Here are a few from the past few weeks...

Sleeping Beauty.

Cheeks.

She's starting to fill out, and has an extra leg roll on her left leg. I love it :)

Sleep smiling.

Fuzzy hair.

Loves her Daddy.

She thinks he's funny. At least someone does ;)

Sissy kisses.

Started grabbing at her toys last week.

Moo Cow.

Tummy time.

Story time with big sis.

Baby feet.

Mesmerized by the fan.

Look at my legs...

I'm terrible at blogging. Sorry for the photo overload and all the catch-ups!

She finally had her PT evaluation this week. We've been doing exercises & stretches here at home and she'll go in once a week to work with the therapist.

She is talking a lot more now and giggling. Oh my word it's the cutest thing ever! Last night she was CRACKING up. It was contagious, but I couldn't get a video :(

My goal is to take more pictures & videos with my real camera and blog more often!!
The days are flying by and these girls are growing like weeds! Sigh....

Two

This is Scarlett's 2 year interview. It was like pulling teeth to try and get her to sit still & cooperate, so I threw in some outtakes for your enjoyment ;) Hopefully I can remember to do these every year around their birthdays so we can look back and see how much they have changed!

A birthday breakfast

Since Stuart will be working for Scarlett's birthday tomorrow, we decided to celebrate a week early. We just invited a couple friends over last Sunday to have breakfast. Simple, lazy, and low key. Big parties stress me out. This was perfect. And the best part is we didn't even have to get dressed :)

(Stuart made us a new farmhouse kitchen table - I'll post more on that later)

We had lots of food. The kids gobbled up the pancakes & donuts on a stick!

This plate and cup set were my MeeMee's. They're perfect for our little "Scar-Bear" as we call her :)

I got a video of her blowing out her candle, but of course it's not working :(

We spent the rest of the day outside playing.

This is her new ride. Oink Oink.

Can't believe my little wild child will be 2 tomorrow!
Pretty sure I was just planning her 1st birthday yesterday....
